AgriSpin

Far from all innovation processes succeed. In fact, many go awry even before they begin. So what makes an innovation process move forward? And what stops it? The EU-project “AgriSpin – Space for innovations in Agriculture” seeks to find the answers to those questions and many more by identifying best practices for innovation and support systems in European agriculture.

The AgriSpin project, launched in April 2015, aims to improve innovation processes in European agriculture by identifying "blind spots"—critical but often overlooked subprocesses that can make or break innovation projects. It explores how farmers seek advice, what they expect from advisers, and how support systems currently function. By uncovering best practices and building a strong European innovation network among advisers, researchers, and policymakers, AgriSpin seeks to strengthen agricultural innovation across Europe.
