Our department at the Uni Hohenheim open day [26.07.23]
On 08.07.2023, the University of Hohenheim opened its doors to interested visitors. Our Department of Communication and Counselling in Rural Areas was also there.

Visitors to our stand learned about ongoing research projects and were able to try out the AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System) concept as researchers themselves. Using the example of cocoa and dairy value chains, they were able to think their way into knowledge and actor networks and solve problems that arise in the value chain (e.g. pathogens in cultivation or production) through their own optimised development of actor networks. Our younger visitors also gained insights into the actors and products of the cocoa and dairy value chains through a quiz. Small rewards were waiting for the commitment of our visitors for their great interest on this hot summer day!
